Compost Prints (2018-2019)

Made by stacking decayed plant material in various compost bins on top of synthetic paper (yupo). Over the course of six to eight weeks the resulting decay leaves an imprint and a record of the process. Marks were added with various media both before and after the composting process. Blurring scale and time, these prints record a surrender to process, to time, and to the microbes.
